Monster Sushi by DinoMike is part of a style of designs that show Asian food advertisements with a twist, and I think this one succeeds by leaning into quirky, charming moments. One highlight is the look of sheer delight on the face of Godzilla, very relatable with his human-like eyes and wide, toothy smile. Another is that not only is he eating a large predator, the shark, but the artist has gone as far as to emphasize the shark’s teeth to make him look even more absurd as a tasty snack. Even the water becomes a moment of creativity, mimicking the style of The Great Wave Off Kanagawa. It’s a very complete and well-done package, and ought to appeal to any monster movie fan or sushi fiend.
