Spoonflower, known for their focus on printing repeating patterns on fabric and wallpaper, are giving artists an opportunity to design another type of material- the packaging. Spoonflower’s Packaging design challenge has no color restrictions, but prefers vector-based designs (without a lot of detail or texture). Here’s what they’re looking for:
This week we’re inviting the Spoonflower community to dream up a design that will be featured on Spoonflower’s packaging in 2021. Inspired by what makes Spoonflower one-of-a-kind, your entry this week should reflect the values that mean the most to the community: family, uniqueness, self-expression and creativity.
Enter before December 29th 2020 at 3PM EST. One first place winner will earn $500 and a $200 Spoonflower credit (this also serves as the licensing fee). Second place receives a $100 Spoonflower credit. Third through fifth place will each get a $50 Spoonflower credit, while the remaining top 10 designs each receive a $20 Spoonflower credit. Designs in the Spoonflower Marketplace also get a 10% commission on each sale.
