Threadless’s Bring Us All the Food

Bring Us All the Food by EduEly is my favorite Threadless print this week. I think it captures something about cat behavior- their nocturnal nature, the way they loudly beg for food, and most importantly the way most cats make a habit of doing strange, uncanny things. Is hiding all the rubber bands in the house under a couch just a playful habit… or an attempt to cast a spell? Tell me a hairball isn’t some kind of occult talisman. It’s a concept that feels right, and the art reinforces that. I love the cute, yowling pudginess of the cats, and how some playfully attempt to look scary. The food summoning scene is set up well and easy to understand with the glowing pentagram and empty food bowl at the center. The text is well-chosen too, retro to keep the concept fun instead of leaning in to the horror elements.

Threadless prints new shirts every week, chosen from the designs submitted by and voted on by site members. Most winners earn $1 to $7 per item sold.
