Threadless’s Finding Peace

Finding Peace by Gintron stands out in a big way with its bold shapes and unusual color palette. It puts me in mind of a surreal world where the land is made of ice cream, speckled with bright trees in the shades of sprinkles. Deep shadows lend dimension to hills and clouds, helping to pull trees closer towards the viewer. The way each section of the hand gesture inhabits a different layer of space is interesting, leaving the two tall fingers hanging distant below the horizon. The design’s best moment is that lovely curve along the bottom edge, a subtle yet effective suggestion of where the rest of the hand resides.
